The artist tries to construct a new space of volume with the rarely combined methods of "weaving" and "stacking." Hexagonal weaving is used to create a base, with which a multi-layered structure is built up; the flat surface is formed by crossing and pressing is lifted up and turned into a three-dimensional space. In an era, which tends to focus on industry, economy, cultural creativity, tourism, etc.; the tribal communities are therefore dispersed. The artist hopes to recover the possibility of connecting people and the land in modern society with this artistic space, the "Patjangzaq." As a simple Paiwan saying goes, "nu kalja dangdangan, tjara leningdjelj sakamaya tua patjangzaq tu tja kesan." (When we cultivate a new land, we will always set up a single-slope bunkhouse to cook). Hoping that this space can be used by villagers with productive interactions, through relationships which are "woven" and "built up."
